Superbad

The typical camaraderie of two friends that band together to overcome unbelievable obstacles, at least in their minds, to obtain the prize. We’ve seen it a thousand times. Instead of two comrades joining together to battle evil forces or save a town from complete degradation, here we have two young adults who spend the entire film trying to score so beer, in hopes of getting with the seemingly unattainable pedestalized women in their high school.

The film offers some smirkable one liners that entertain for the moment. But after the credits roll and you’re far away from the film you can only mediate upon how this 120 minute movie was a complete waste of your time. If you are looking for substance, you will not find it here, but if you feel like zoning out in front of motion picture that will in no way shape or form influence your life in any way that would be considered beneficial, pop Superbad right in.
