I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell

Continuing with some other films that I thought were just terrible – here comes IHTSBIH. What a piece this is. Where do I even begin? This film reminded me of bastardized cinematic child between AMERICAN PIE, the ENTOURAGE show, and any one of the NATIONAL LAMPOONS films – not the older ones like ANIMAL HOUSE, which is excellent by the way, but the newer ones that have one guy who thinks he’s king **** and walks all over women and his friends. That NATIONAL LAMPOONS series. I have a friend who would absolutely love this film, and it saddens me even more about him, because the goal of this film is for guys to drink, score with women, and not get caught. It’s pretty awful.

IHTSBIH Trailer If You Even Care

I don’t blame you if you didn’t watch the trailer, but if you did you know exactly how the film goes. Story… what story? It’s about a guy named Tucker Max who’s life goal is to sleep with every woman and drink beer all night. He’s probably the most self-indulging, pigheaded, and boring character in all of cinema. If he seems lively and exciting to you then you need to check yourself, because he’s a trite, sad, and hopeless man. I hope the real Tucker Max is just like this guy, because he should have a life filled with suffering and pain for having us watch something that even remotely resembles his life if this is how it is. No beer for you in Hell Tucker, sorry.

Watch out for the scene where he craps himself and drags the feces throughout the hotel. That sequence is one long metaphor for what this film is.
